Hey all.
I've developed a new app that allows you to intelligently batch pick multiple orders at the same time and is fully integrated into ShipStation.
The way it works is:
- Assign orders to a user in ShipStation.
- On the mobile device, you connect to ShipStation and select the user. All orders for the user are downloaded to the device.
- You select how many orders you wish to pack at once and it will print a bin label for each order containing a barcode, order number and bin number.
- The app will then guide you through the warehouse using ShipStations warehouse locations and tell you which items to pick and which bin to put them in.
- When all orders are complete, the app notifies the picker that they have now finished the batch and you pass the bin to the packing team.
- Packers then scan the bin in ShipStations scan to verify and print and continue the ShipStation workflow to verify and print a label.
The advantages are:
- You can pick as many orders at once as your warehouse / processes can support.
- Streamline the pick process by only going to the locations needed for multiple orders one time.
- All orders are effectively double verified as we scan at both the pick and pack stages.
- Reduce your head count or increase your picking throughput.
This is not a product to compete or replace ShipStation, it's to streamline the pick process in ShipStation
