We currently use Shipstation "Scan to verify and print" to fulfill our orders and Shipstation notifies our selling channel, Shopify, that an order is fulfilled when an order's shipping label is purchased/printed (i.e. when the status changes to "Shipped" in shipstation). This works fine when the fulfillment team uses the "Scan to verify and print" feature to fulfill an order as you can't print the label until you successfully scan out all the contents of the order.
However, there is still the ability/risk for someone to select an order and "mark as shipped" without scanning out the contents. While you can train team members not to do this, someone could still do it without actually fulfilling the order. I would love the ability to adjust user permissions so that I could restrict a team member from marking something as shipped without verifying the order contents first.
Alternatively, if this isn't possible, I would like the ability to run a report that shows any orders that were "shipped" but never verified.
Based on my convos with Shipstation support, neither of these options exist. I need either a front-end "prevent" control to require verification or a backend "detect" control to see what wasn't verified to mitigate this risk to my fulfillment process. Help please!
