Hi all!
New here! So apologies if this is a really simple query or on the wrong board.
I have a large shipping job, but there are variations to the contents of the boxes.
For example; I may have 500 boxes that have a Small Tshirt, 500 a large Tshirt, 500 Medium.. Further, some may have a can of Coke, some might have a bottle of water. (not actual items but to keep it simple)
My question is, how can i put a code onto the shipping label so that my people that are packing know what to put in that box before attaching the label?
Such as - MC (Medium Tee / Coke)
XLW (XL Tee / Water)
Not every box will be Unique, i might have a bunch of MC's and XLW's.
I am really struggling to see how i can have this print on the label, I am using our companies Parcel Force account, currently the sender ref (order number - that MUST be unique) is printed on the label.. I tried putting a code here but it rejected repeats... All of the packages are listed under the same internal job number for 1 client so this is redundant for us and i leave as 'AUTO'.
We upload orders manually using a CSV, can i map codes on the CSV to print on shipping labels? would a SKU pull through to the label?
Thank you in advance! - open to any 'hacks' to get this in place
