We are in the process of cleaning up our shipping process and have come up with an idea that would make printing and shipping faster. But we have hit a standstill for the idea. We want to use the Group By feature, but we are hoping that we could have Warehouse Location added to the list of options. We would like to be able to group by a product Sku and group products by Warehouse location. This would allow us to print off packing slips much faster and not have to sort through orders before and after printing. Could we have warehouse location added to Group By?  

We really need all Royal Mail services BZW and BZX adding to the integration, as we need to send with this daily, and shipstation not supporting these codes will mean that we can no longer use shipstation. If this is true for us, it will also be true for many others.These codes have been added new from Jan 5th in response to the US tariff scenario, and for all those trading with the US, these codes are a game changer, so shipstation integration is imperative.Thank you for your consideration

Current the field “Item Description” is not an option to select in the custom form options when exporting Orders. I’d love to see this added to the list in the future. 

IDK what happened in the flow of things but when I started using SS when I was in an order page and everything was filled out (address, weight, dimensions) and clicked the CALCULATOR ICON (hotkey C) it would go to the browse rate window with everything filled in from the order page and would display the rates of carriers automatically. But now SS made a change and the calculator icon is gone and there is now a button that says Browse Rates. if you CLICK on the button it functions the same as the calculator icon did but there is NO hotkey that works for that button and having to change form keyboard to mouse waste time. Need to get a hotkey that works with the browse rates button on the order detail page.

FedEx has just come out with a 2 day one rate extra small box. Could this be integrated into ShipStation?

We currently create customs declarations from order items in Ship Station, but we have a lot of items which have the same HS code.It would be useful if there was an option to automatically group items with the same HS code into a single line on the customs declaration. For instance, change:1 x birthday card1 x birthday card1 x christmas card1 x wrapping paper to:3 x greetings cards1 x wrapping paper Many thanks.

Hello,We're trying to use V2 of the API to create and process batches to automate the process of generating shipping labels in bulk. We have the document format for Label set to 4" x 6" (w/ Packing Slip) under Settings > Printing > Printing Setup. So, when we create labels manually on the website, the generated document contains both the label and the packing slip for each of the shipments, which is great. However, when using the API, there's no way to include the packing slips in the PDF file that gets generated after processing a batch. To make matters worse, even if we try to print the labels on the website, packing slips are still not included for batches that were processed using the API. This makes the feature completely unusable for us. According to the docs, there's a label_layout option but the only supported values are 4x6 and letter. To fix this, I suggest you either add the missing options (e.g., 4x6_with_pac

My products range for 4”x4”x1” at 0.86 lbs to 22”x13”x9” at  65.76 lbs (before pallet if LTL) shipping US and Canada at a minimum and potentially worldwide.I need an API for live rates for Squarespace.  Currently, the website is developed and hosted on Squarespace 7.1.  While I would prefer a live rate API between Squarespace and ShipStation, perhaps I need to port my site to another host IF a functioning live rate API to ShipStation exists elsewhere.Decisionguru

Hello!Is it possible to create a line item extended cost, as well as the total value column on Purchase Orders?  The function and purpose of the PO is to show the costs and amount of the PO when sending it in to our vendors.Also, is there a way to customize the layout of PO’s?  (i.e. column size, adding columns, etc...)

Currently when combining shipments (to same email, address, etc.) there is only 1 surviving order number.The other order numbers are saved and referenced in the product line item, but not a field that can be sent over to another system.If all lthe order numbers were saved in “internal notes” this would allow other systems to recieve the order numbers and mark them shipped.

Adding the ability to Bulk unselect Saturday Delivery would really improve the workflow.Right now, we bulk apply Saturday Delivery on Thursdays to see what can deliver on Saturday for FedEx Express (we ship chilled products). For all of the orders that are not available for Saturday, and for the ones that simply are not fulfilled on a Thursday, need to be gone through one by one in order to manually unselect Saturday Delivery. 

When generating an order via API, there is no field to pass the customer/recipient's Tax ID/VAT Number. This complicates things as we must manually enter this information for each affected order in order to generate a valid commercial invoice, or when posting information to carriers for EDI. Please add the ability to pass this information via API.

The ShipStation techs recommended I post this here as well. I would like to see a column added to the Orders page for “Requested Shipping.” We can currently sort orders by Date, SKU, Title, etc. but not by Requested Shipping Method.The problem this causes is when we do shipping batches of the same SKU and use the same shipping method based on cheapest cost, there’s not way to see if any of the orders have paid extra for expedited shipping (UPS day, etc.).If we could sort orders by Shipping Method first this would allow us to catch orders that have requested and paid for expedited shipping before we run our batches.The only way to check it now is to open every order individually and check the Requested Shipping Method. This wastes a lot of time on days when we have 500 orders.

Hi ShipStation Team,I am looking to migrate our full inventory management system over to ShipStation, but I've hit a roadblock regarding how pre-orders and backorders are handled.Currently, our business relies heavily on pre-orders. To manage this effectively, we need to be able to see exactly how many units are backordered for a given SKU at a glance.Right now, ShipStation's native inventory feature does not allow stock levels to drop into negative numbers. Using the "Do Not Track" option also defeats the purpose of centralizing our inventory management, as we lose total visibility on the backordered amounts.Please allow SKU quantities to go into negative numbers when tracking inventory.Allowing negative stock would let merchants instantly see exactly how many items they owe customers (e.g., -15 means we need to source or manufacture 15 units to fulfill pending pre-orders).Support confirmed this isn't currently possible and suggested I bring it to the Product Design team here. We need shipping cost information pushed back into Faire and Shopify in the integration. Without it, we have to manually add to all Faire orders before we confirm an order has been shipped which greatly takes away the benefits of the integration in the first place. This is the only thing hindering me from being able to use ship station. 

Shipping label cost relayed/communicated back to bright pearl for the accounting side. I know in our company we sell to retailers  and even drop ship for them. In some instances a retailer does not have a shipping account we are able to bill, so when invoicing we need to include the shipping cost of their order to be able to invoice them properly.Going back in to Shipstation to check the cost of the shipping label and then adding a shipping cost to the order is a lot of manual work on 100s of orders. If the cost of the shipping label was relayed back and put on the order in brightpearl automatically, it would cut out a ton of manual work in retail season.

All products have Brand, my suggestion is to add Brand as an Attribute to Product detail (like we already have Reporting Category). 

Hi There. Our business unfortunately can't use shipstaion without being able to have multiple packages available for multiple orders. I would say that this is pretty basic. If I have 50 orders that require 2 boxes (packages), I would have to manually book on 50 orders separately, not a chance, far to time consuming. This is a shame as everything else is perfect. A customer orders several products. Use the dimensions of each product to calculate the total cubic inches of the order. We can then use this information to choose the correct box size for those of us that use cubic shipping. Seems like that would be pretty simple to do!

Is it possible to create an automation which tells shipstation to create a certain number of shipments for an order if the order is tagged in a certain way? At the moment, we might have 300 orders that all require multi-package shipments created for them.  We need to go into each order individually to create these multi-package shipments.  This takes us a large amount of time to do this.  We have tags and automations set up in Shipstation to tell us how many boxes will be required to pack an order.  It would be great if we could create an automation rule to tell shipstation that if an order is tagged with '10 boxes' then 10 multi-package shipments should be auto created for this order.  Thank you.

Hello, I am requesting an improvement to the integration with FedEx for international shipments. Currently, there are only two options for the "Terms of Sale" field, also called "Incoterms", on the commercial invoice: DDP and DDU. However, there are many other Terms of Sale available if one goes directly through the FedEx website of FedEx ShipManager. For some reason, when mapping that field to their app, ShipStation did not pull all the available options over. Additionally, DDU is an expired term of sale. It was replaced by DAP in 2010, so an update is also needed there. Spencer

Hi,With this recent update to Shipstation, the icons have changed to a solid flat black, instead of being green for a validated address and yellow exclamation point for address verification needed. This color coding is ingrained into our workflow; it is how we are able to correct issues quickly when processing 100’s to 1000’s of orders. I get always having a new version release makes investors happy, but please revert this change back to the original color scheme, the classic if it is not broke do not fix it. See attached screenshot if not familiar with what I am speaking of. Thanks! 

Hi ShipStation Product Team,I'm requesting two related features that would prevent costly UPS Dimensional Weight adjustments for ShipStation customers:1. Add "Package Dimensions" as a criteria option in Automation RulesCurrently, dimensions are only available as an Action Type ("Set Package Dimensions"). There is no way to create a rule that detects when dimensions are empty or set to 0x0x0. We need a criteria option such as "Package Dimensions Equal Zero" or "Package Dimensions Is Empty" so we can conditionally hold orders, add tags, or create alerts when dimensions are missing.2. Add an account-level setting to require dimensions before label creationShipStation currently allows labels to be created with no weight and no dimensions entered. There is no validation or warning. For any customer using UPS (or any carrier that uses Dimensional Weight billing), this is a serious problem. We need an admin toggle in Account Settings that blocks label creation unless dimensions are populated.

I would like to request a feature that allows a discount taken during checkout to be applied to an item's price on the Customs Form. Currently I am processing a lot of International orders that had used coupon codes to get discounts on their purchase. Shipstation sees the discount as a separate line item, and reports the product at full price on the Customs form. This will mean the customer will have to pay a higher tax rate on import, unless we manually go in and adjust the price on every single international order Customs Declaration. I'd like to be able to automate this so that customs forms would reflect the actual price paid, not the item's default price.
