This round of updates features improvements to SMS messaging for Royal Mail and Parcelforce, some clean-up of UI for Batches and Filters, and various bug fixes for carriers. 

Improvements

Features

  • Royal Mail and Parcelforce - Apply email and SMS (text) notifications in bulk (UK): You can now apply email and SMS (text) notifications in bulk to your Royal Mail and Parcelforce shipments in ShipStation. Select multiple orders from Awaiting Shipments, go to Bulk Update > Other Shipping Options, then choose SMS Notification: Populate phone number from order for SMS notifications or choose Email Notification: Enter your email message and click Update Selection. That sequence will apply the customer’s email or phone number for each selected order. You can still enter custom email/phone details from the sidebar on the right when you select an order.

  • ShipStation Support Hours (AU/NZ): We have updated the operating hours for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) support teams as they appear in the app to align with current support hours. Click the Help icon in-app to see that the updated hours are as follows:
    • For AU: 8:00 AM to 5:30 pm AEST
    • For NZ: 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM NZT
  • Batch Shipping: The drop-down in the sidebar that lists Batches will now list the whole name of the Batch when you add an order to Batches. Previously, the Batch name would be truncated. 

Bug Fixes

Features

  • Onboarding - New Accounts
    • We  fixed a bug so now when you open a new account, the ShipStation UI will perform as expected. Previously a few merchants encountered a white screen when they tried to open a new account.
    • We  fixed a separate bug so now when you open a new account, the carriers available for your country through ShipStation will appear as expected. Previously merchants in some countries encountered problems when they tried to load  the Settings > Carriers  page. 
  • Filters: We cleaned up the UI when you select multiple items from a filter. Previously, the UI would repeat the filter across the screen top. 

Integrations

Carriers

  • PayPal and Stamps.com - Partner Registration: We have corrected an issue so you can now connect PayPal and Stamps accounts via partner registration as expected. Previously, some merchants were experiencing timeout issues when adding funds within the connection process.
  • USPS - We fixed automation rules and bulk updates so they will apply Ground Advantage appropriately. 
  • DPD Germany from ShipStation - We addressed an issue so now you can create labels within DPD Germany from ShipStation, as expected. The previous bug blocked label creation.. 
  • UPS - We updated the integration with UPS so it will return labels for orders with a large quantity of multi-package shipments. 

Selling Channels

  • Yahoo! Stores - GlobalPost: We fixed the issue that blocked Shipment notifications from International GlobalPost shipments. The shipment notifications now display as expected. 
  • Shopify - We updated the carrier code for Evri so it will appear as “Evri” instead of “other” on orders. 

ShipStation Mobile

Bug Fixes

  • Android - Update orders outside the Create Label screen: We have corrected an issue with ShipStation mobile for Android so you can now update orders outside of the Create Label screen, and those changes will reflect immediately, as expected. This includes successfully tagging orders on the Orders and Order Details screens, updating the address in Order Details, Printing, and editing order items.
