This release introduces some new features and updates to make your experience smoother and improve how things work on mobile.
Order Details: As of January 11, 2024, accounts outside of the US and CAnow use the new ShipStationOrder Details. US and CA accounts will automatically transition to the new Order Details experience on February 1, 2024.
Date format: We will now ensure that the date format throughout the app aligns with the display options, providing a more seamless experience. Previously, there was a mismatch between the date format in the interface and your settings.
Compare Rates (UK): We have fixed an issue so only relevant ratesaredisplayed for the selected carrier when you compare rates. Previously, if you switched between carriers, the other carrier's rates would persist.
FedEx Commercial Invoice - Recipient Email (UK): We have corrected a problem so now the Recipient Email is included in the FedEx Commercial Invoice, as expected. Previously, FedEx UK shipments did not show an email address (if provided) for the recipient listed on the Commercial Invoice. Not having this information present caused delays when merchants needed to contact the recipient.
Evri - Tracking Statuses (UK): We have corrected a problem so that now shipment notifications, statuses, and carrier tracking for Evri will perform as expected. Previously, some merchants saw Evri statuses being returned as Delivered when in fact, that shipment had not yet been delivered.
Loomis Express - Insurance costs: The insurance fee is now included as part of the carrier fee for Loomis Express.
Royal Mail - Northern Ireland customs forms on bulk label creation: You can now create labels in bulk to send Royal Mail shipments to Northern Ireland as expected and without an error.
GLS DE - Labels: We will now show the company name on the label if provided. Previously, the recipient's name appeared twice.
FedEx UK- Customs Forms: We have corrected the currency cost code on the customs forms to now show £ forGBP. Previously, the cost was showing as the $ for USD.
Amazon DE - Prime orders: Shipping Amazon Prime orders from ShipStation is no longer limited to accounts in the US and UK. All accounts now have the ability to ship Prime orders. Prime orders will import into the Awaiting Shipment status and can be shipped either with the Amazon Buy Shipping carrier or with your own carriers. Merchants that have an existing Amazon connection will need to manually enable this setting in the store settings as described in our Amazon article.
ChannelAdvisor - ChannelAdvisor hasrebranded as RIthum. We will update the logos and related information within ShipStation soon. If you want details about Rithum and the change from ChannelAdvisor, please see theChannelAdvisor landing page.
Updated DHL Parcel Carrier Codes: We now include the carrierCode and classCode for DHL Parcel shipments in the feeds we send back to ChannelAdvisor so that the shipments update with the corresponding information. Previously, null carrier name and code fields were being sent back to ChannelAdvisor for DHL Parcel shipments.
Jane.com closed its website and app on Nov. 17, 2023. The company is no longer operational and is out of business. AnyJane.com account previously connected to ShipStation will retain their Jane.com order history and data. TheJane.com tile will be removed from ShipStation. We will be unable to support existing connections toJane.com from this time forward.
