This round of Release Notes addresses many integration fixes and formatting improvements to Order Details.

Improvements

Features

  • ShipStation Carriers and Shipsurance: We added the ability to apply Shipsurance coverage from your personal Shipsurance account in the insurance drop-down menu when configuring a shipment using a ShipStation Carrier. Previously, when Shipsurance was configured after adding a ShipStation Carrier, only ParcelGuard insurance could be applied.

  • Order Details: The Order Details screen now more clearly highlights line items with a quantity greater than one so that those items can quickly be identified and handled appropriately.

Integrations

Carriers

  • DPD Local (UK): We added the service, DPD Direct Lite, as a selectable service for DPD Local.

Selling Channels

  • BigCommerce: Label Printing: All BigCommerce users can now access and print ShipStation labels directly in BigCommerce. Previously, only store owners could access Shipstation native label printing in BigCommerce.

Bug Fixes

Features

  • Shipping Presets: We resolved an issue so that Shipping Presets that include a Ship From address will now apply the service and shipment details correctly when applied in bulk to multiple shipments.
  • Shipping Presets with Multiple Package Shipments: We fixed an issue so that the correct unit of measure is used when applying shipping presets to shipments containing multiple packages. Previously, for ShipStation accounts configured to use metric units, ShipStation would change the dimension unit of measure from centimeters to inches when shipping presets were applied to multiple-package shipments.

  • Shipping Cost Insights Report: The Shipping Cost report (Insights > Reports > Shipping Cost) can now be run for all carriers. Previously, an error message would be displayed when a Shipstation Carrier Service was selected as the Provider.
  • User Management: We corrected the issue that prevented you from purchasing additional users for your plan. You can now add additional users without issue.
  • Subscription: We addressed the issue with the Undo Cancellation button not working. You can now re-instate your subscription by pressing the Undo Cancellation button.
  • Tracking Reports (AU): The custom reports from the Shipment grid will now display the correct timestamp with the expected format of DD/MM/YYYY in the Delivery Date Field. The time in the Delivery Date Field will now match the delivery time on the carrier’s website.
  • Scan to Print Workflow: We updated the Scan to Print functionality so it will display a proper error message if an order does not have a phone number. This should alert you to any issues so that you can correct them and print the label.

Integrations

Carriers

  • CouriersPlease (AU): The CouriersPlease shipping status now displays correctly in ShipStation. Previously, there was an issue that caused the status to not be updated.
  • CanadaPost: We put validations in place so Small Business Acccounts (Venture accounts) cannot create manifests in ShipStation. CanadaPost does not support manifests for Small Businees Accounts.
  • UPS (CA):  We fixed the issue that caused the error message, “The requested service is invalid from the selected origin” when trying to ship to the US using UPS Worldwide Express.
  • UPS: We updated UPS Worldwide Expedited service so you can ship to US territories without error.
  • UPS from ShipStation (UK😞 All recommendations for insurance will display the correct amount of  £60.00 for UK accounts.  Previously it was showing amounts in USD.
  • DPD (UK😞 We fixed the format of the DPD UK Label so the weight is rounded instead of listing exact decimal weights that trail off the label.
  • Lettre Suivie: We updated our integration with Lettre Suivie so the Company Name is included on the label.
  • Asendia: We addressed the formatting issue that caused details from labels and packing slips to overlap. The label and packing slip print separately now.

Selling Channels

  • Netsuite: Error messages are now correctly displayed when adding a Netsuite store to ShipStation. Previously, error messages would not be displayed correctly, making it difficult to resolve any issues when adding a Netsuite store to ShipStation.
  • eBay Field Mapping: The eBay sales record number will now map correctly to Custom Field 1 in ShipStation . Previously,  the sales record number would not be displayed when eBay custom mapping was configured to import the eBay sales record number into the ShipStation Custom Field 1.

  • Shopify: We fixed the issue that would mark all items in a split shipment as “shipped” instead of treating the shipments separately. Now, ShipStation will send notifications to Shopify for each individual shipment.
  • Big Cartel: We updated the connection with Big Cartel so now Shipment Notifications include the tracking information.

Shiphero and Easyship automatically selects the cheapest carrier rate when importing orders and it is a game changer. When is Shipstation going to do something about this?
Many stores operate in countries where different carriers have different rates depending on the customers location and we spend hours and hours going through and checking rates against carriers and it sucks. It costs the owners time if they do it themselves, or money if they have a team member do it.
