Does ShipStation send "ship from" information to Amazon?

Hi @AdminCara

We received this email from Amazon and then realized that ShipStation does not send "ship from" information to Amazon.

When I contacted customer support about "ship from" information of an order being sent to Amazon, I was told that. ShipStation does not support it and they provided me with this link.

Is it in ShipStation's plan to support this?

Thanks

Amazon is asking for Warehouse ID while confirming the shipments.

Hello @numan61!

Thank you for your post and for providing all the details—it’s beneficial!

I checked in with our development team, and they shared the following clarification: the notice you received is coming from Amazon, not ShipStation, which relates to how Amazon manages warehouse data.

If a warehouse in your Amazon account has not shipped inventory in the past six months, Amazon will stop using that location when calculating estimated delivery dates and ship-by dates.

I hope this clarifies the confusion! If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out—we’re always happy to help.

Happy Shipping!

Dear @CaraAdmin

Whenever I ship an order, I chose "Ship From" location. My question is why Shipstation does not share "ship from" location with Amazon. Even though we ship items from New york. It reflects to Amazon as if we shipped it out from Nevada. It is because ShipStation is always sending the same warehouse to Amazon no matter what we chose.
