Feature Request - Weight Validation

We sell food products that have a packaged weight. We would like to have a validation that takes the expected weight of all items and compares that against the actual shipment weight. We have had orders where an item was missed and it was obvious when the customer contacted us that they were inadvertently omitted based on the shipping weight. Is there a way to have the actual weight compared against the standard weight for all matched items, and if the difference deviates by +/- X ounces, then a notification is triggered

This was previously a feature we used for years but is now unavailable.  Please bring it back!  Since moving over to Shopify and using the new layout we haven't had it available.   In order history we were able to see if the weight was changed +/- at all.  This was important in verification of a shipment.
