Currently, when creating return labels for USPS, there is no option to indicate that a package contains dangerous goods. This option is available when creating normal orders, but it disappears when initiating a return.

Because of this limitation, creating a correct return label for hazardous items is difficult. The current workarounds are inconvenient:

  • Manually creating a normal order instead of using the return system, which makes the returns section redundant and defeats its purpose.

  • Using another carrier, which may not always be practical or available for our shipping needs.

  • Purchasing labels directly from the USPS website, which is time-consuming and adds extra steps to the workflow.

Adding the ability to declare “dangerous goods” directly in the returns labels section would greatly simplify the process. It would save time, reduce errors, and make the returns system much more useful for businesses that handle hazardous items.

This small improvement would have a big impact on efficiency and usability, kindly ask you to add this feature.

Thank you for your time.
