Currently, there are two endpoints in the API that can be used to retrieve orders:
The get-order endpoint allows users to fetch an order by id. But if you have multiple order ids, you would have to hit that endpoint multiple times which is both time intensive and inefficient. The list-orders endpoint allows for bulk retrieval of orders but the search criteria does not offer an option to provide a list of specific order ids.
I'm a freelance developer working with a client to integrate their ShipStation instance with a 3rd party Point-Of-Sale system and the inability to request orders in bulk using a list of order ids has been a big pain point.
Hopefully, you already have plans to implement this feature. If not here's hoping the ShipStation team will consider it.
