Add AI capabilities to recommend most efficient package type and cheapest service options

Pretty much every software my company currently uses has integrated some type of AI engine to leverage the available data in their system to identify opportunities to save money, add efficiency and/or optimize reporting insights that will help you grow your business. Thus, if Shipstation isn't already exploring adding AI to their product offering they need to get moving. Some obvious opportunities where leasing and integrating an AI engine like Chat GBT on the backend of their system would be:

  1. Looking at product/inventory dimensions and weights to recommend the best packaging type to for packing shipments in
  2. Recommending the most cost effective provider and service option based on the aforementioned product data.
  3. Recommending new package type/sizes based on most common order contents to save money on shipping. For example, if my company only uses a 2 standard size boxes, but the average order size/weight that we ship would be a $xx cheaper if we added a 3rd box size, it would be extremely valuable to know that.

These are just a few of simple examples but there is a treasure chest of data being captured by Shipstation and with the right AI tool, there is a ton of valuable insight that could be extrapolated from it!
