How/Can a report be generated showing GST/Tax charged on Shipping Cost?
This is a requirement in Canada and I have been unable to generate this report.

We are also trying to figure this out.
It's year end and we cannot generate this information.
Were you able to find this information?

I was not able. Shipstation says this is not a functionality.
I've tried explaining that it is a legal requirement and have had no luck thus far

Any Luck? I've opened multiple tickets

I have asked the same question with no answers. I spoke with CRA and I was advised this is not legal, their shipping fees include taxes then they must provide an invoice showing the taxes charged

I am having the same problem. what is the work around for this? how did you end up calculating the sales tax paid without it?

I've had this ticket open for over a year and still not getting anywhere. We have tens of thousands of dollars that we cannot put through our HST filings for the year because of this and causing a extreme overpayment to CRA.

This is the response I received from their team:
Shipstation- "I truly appreciate your understanding regarding the inconvenience you are currently facing. I managed to discuss this issue with our Senior Support team, and they indicated that this is not a service we provide; it would be considered a feature request. ShipStation does not provide tax breakdowns.

I spoke with CRA and I was advised this is not legal, their shipping fees include taxes then they must provide an invoice showing the taxes charged, otherwise it will not be submitable to CRA.

How are we to submit our tax reports to CRA?

Anyone have an update on this? I've been unsure if ShipStation was even charging tax on shipping lables paid through my ShipStation balance since I am not able to find it on any of the reports. I have not been able to claim back the GST(5%) or HST (13% / 15%) on any of these shipments from Purolator for example. I thought posssibly that since we fund the ShipStation balance and it is their American company actually buying the Canadian Purolator label that they are not charged the federal tax as they are out of the country. Is this the case?
I find it hard to believe that a company as large as ShipStation would not follow Canadian tax law requirments but then again Etsy and Amazon have done so and in both cases the large corporation overcollects tax which then benefits the government who don't seem too concerned with the issue. Small business is left paying the additional costs of course.
Any help from others would be great, especially ShipStation staff!

I have not ever been on this forum until now as we have this SAME ISSUE. We left SHIPSTATION behind as we too have lost $1000's of $$ in tax credits for HST/GST amounts paid. Still have my account as I am opened a ticket with them last week to find a resolution. They suggested I come to the forum so here I am. Perhaps a "class action" has to happen... thoughts? SHIPSTATION - ARE YOU LISTENING??

I have requested that they do a change and nothing as of yet. I don't understand how they consider this as a feature when it is not a feature it is a requirement in order to operate an invoice in Canada. YOU CAN NOT charge us taxes without proper accounting of it. I have reported it to CRA and reported it to shipstation and still nothing..... on my end I am using my own carriers at this time because I can not absorb the costs of taxes.
