I encountered an issue where I combined two orders for a customer, one had already shipped and the other had not been fulfilled. When I combined the orders, I realized I was unable to edit any of the shipping information for the second order. I looked to see if I could split the orders back to their original configurations, but I did not have the option.
I talked to customer support, and they confirmed that once you combine an order with one that has already shipped, there is no way to split them again. While I have made note so that it does not happen again, is there a way to fix a situation like this, or possibly receive a warning that the order will not be fulfill-able if you try this combination?
