Delivery notification is not sent to custom store!

Hi,
The drawback here is we have our custom store and the only option here is to notify the customer when a package has been successfully delivered.
We do not have any API or a notificationโs system that notifies the stores when an order has been successfully delivered and this doesn't help us in tracking the order status at the backend. We can not mark the order as delivered in our system since we do not receive this kind of notification.
If there is an alternative please let me know.
