Label printer is still not printing. "Printing Error..."

The issue that the printing through shipstation connect is still not working. I had the old version, downloaded the new version and it worked for one day. As of yesterday 3/12/24 I started getting the same error "Printing Error - There was a problem downloading the document."

Im still able to download and print as pdf but its time consuming and frustrating! Wish you had better service that responded.

I am having the same issue- started around the same time as you too. Please update if you find a fix!

Ok, I was able to get in touch with someone from shipstation. He went to settings (the gear on the top right) and selected printing, then printing setup. Under the Print To he clicked on the zebra printer name and a popup came up. He then clicked on Always Promps.

after those steps go print a label and it will prompt you to select the printer. Once I did that is actually printed.

I received this fix from ShipStation support and it resolved the issue for me!

Our engineers would recommend removing v2.4 from the computer before/after updating to v4.10. The reason is that we are seeing both ShipStation Connect v4.10 and ShipStation Connect v2.4 running simultaneously in the background and when attempting to print, v.2.4 is still failing which triggers the errors. Removing the older version of ShipStation Connect should resolve this.

Can I have you go to ctrl+alt+delete > Task Manager > Processes and End Process for nw.exe? That’ll shut down Connect.
Search for the ShipStation Connect folder under the Start > Program Files menu, then uninstall SS Connect. Please make sure to uninstall all of your active workstations before uninstalling.

Once done, please do the following steps:

  1. Paste %localappdata% into the search in the Start menu, or a File Explorer window.
  2. Find the ShipStation Connect folder, and move it to the recycling bin. Do the same for the folder called Apps.
  3. Delete any previous application files for ShipStation Connect you may have (these are usually found in your downloads folder)
  4. Reinstall ShipStation Connect outside your ShipStation Account using this link: For Windows: https://downloads.shipstation.com/connect/prod/shipstation/win/latest/ShipStation%20Connect%20Setup....For MacOShttps://downloads.shipstation.com/connect/prod/shipstation/mac/latest/ShipStation%20Connect-universa...
