After I import all the customers for a batch of orders, I go to the New Order Screen to create a shipment, which first involves entering their address... if the import completed successfully, the address can be retrieved if you type in the recipient's name (sometimes it can), but this is too time consuming and prone to errors.
What you need is a scan Customer # box on the top of the screen, such that you can either scan a barcode or enter the customer number manually. The best field to use would probably be the "Username" field on the import template (since there is no "Customer #" field.
When the New Order screen is opened, the curser focus should be in that field so a bar code can be quickly scanned - and the address will be retrieved from the customer list and fields all populated automatically.
