I'm trying to create a personal internal tool for my dad to make it easier to manage his ShipStation orders using ShipStation API. Does anyone with experience using ShipStation API know what happens when using the split order function in the dashboard? Could this be replicated by using ShipStation API's create/update orders at endpoint

Currently, orders are linked through Amazon Marketplace Web Services, and the dashboard's split function automatically syncs and updates the order on both ShipStation and the Amazon store's end. Would using the API endpoint above also automatically sync orders with Amazon MWS, or would I have to also access Amazon MWS API to update that end separately? Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!
