Would be nice to be able to give view only permissions to users on inventory management.
It would be nice to have both. Currently you can only see the logged in user in the report. So we can't ship orders that are assigned to someone else at another terminal or logged in as another user and use this report.
On Products view there is no way to sort by quantity. This would be very useful.
Would like to be able to see inventory at each warehouse, to update inventory at each warehouse, add products and update image urls and other fields using the API. Supports answer for this was to upload a csv. Kind of defeats the purpose of having an API if you can't do things typical API's offer . Our inventory changes every minute so uploading a csv isn't an option. We are currently having to manage inventory in SS and at our channels manually. Double data entry. Please make the API more useful.
I understand this is to channel integrity but it makes a serious road block when an order needs to be changed. I would like to be able to edit pretty much all order info. Add remove products, change quantities etc.
Would like to see product history working. Sometimes it shows all history, sometimes it shows no history, sometimes it shows partial history. Would also be nice to have a count at the bottom of the history. How many were received, how many were sold, how many should be on hand, how many are committed, total value sold, total value on hand.
The Send Rates to Store Checkout for Shopify is only available in the US. Please make is available in other countries as well. We're located in Canada and we need this feature.
Hi, viewing of Open Shipments under the End of Day page does not honour user's permissions/restrictions - e.g. a user that has order/shipment restrictions selected ("Restrict this user to only see orders assigned to them" and "Restrict this user to only see shipments created by them") can view details of other user's shipments! Please address this ASAP!
We need the ability to see Shopify Tips in ShipStation. We use this for donations as well as tips, and whenever we receive these we like to acknowledge customers but currently have no such way to know that an order has a tip from the info in ShipStation.
As a fulfillment coordinator utilizing UPS from Shipstaion claims regularly, it would be very helpful to be able to access all of my claims and their information in one place. Can Shipstation please work on adding this feature? It would be HUGELY helpful. Thank you! Pratima Skincare
Hello there, I hope I'm posting this in the correct place... We are a retail store store carrying 52,000+ UPCs and growing. Generally we have about 100-150 orders per day at the moment. Our routine in the morning is print a pick list and go grab everything then bring it back to our shipping warehouse and proceed to ship and repeat that process all day. Well we're running into issues where people get into the groove of pulling a certain product then we get an order for a similar product with similar packaging and they pull and ship the wrong product. That's what has led us to Scan to Verify options, but we don't necessarily want to print out every packing slip or pull each order individually. Essentially, I want an employee to be able to print a pick list with a barcode at the top and they can scan that barcode as they leave the warehouse and then when they are picking from our retail shelves they scan each UPC code to verify it's on the pick list.
It would be great to have the ability to email the team when a stock order has reached out reorder threshold. @shipstation - Please consider adding that option
When an order has multiple UPS labels to print out Ship Station will print 2 labels on an 8.5 x 11 sheet.We then have to cut them up before putting them on a box.It would be great to have the option for Ship Station to print each label on a separate 8.5 x 11 sheet. Then we can just fold the sheet, save time, and having to reprint labels when they aren't cut correctly
Hi, Shipstation is currently not supporting options such as size, color to show on packing lists. The function really needs to be added so that you can see more data for the order other than the parent product name. Thanks, Endea Group
Hi All In Australia, shipstation keeps changing ST to Saint Then Australia post rejects the address. Australia post are only accepting ST. example St leonards shipstation changes to Saint Leonards in address auto correct then Australia post reject the address. Scott
Well can't say the newly implement feature of showing the Order Age in hours will be anything but a hassle when it comes to creating labels. My three order feeds (Amazon, Etsy and Ebay) all express the time it takes to ship an order in days. Now I need to make a mental calculation for each order to determine the number of days the order has been in the queue. This will have a big impact on the time it takes to process and order once it reaches ShipStation. Would like to know what the requirement(s) were in making this change.
Hi, when I process an order, if I want to send my courier the consumers contact details I need to add them manually. Can it be made so that I can set this in Automation rules once and going forwards the contact details automatically get pulled through. ThanksDavo
I just spoke with ShipStation, and they informed me that is not currently possible to print the commercial invoice before shipping the order. A suggested workaround was to 'ship' the order, print the documents, and then cancel/void the shipment. Hopefully being able to print the document without buying a label first will be possible in the future! The customer service agent suggested I post here. Also, being able to download the commercial invoice as an excel file would be a major plus.
Every API and integration requires Store IDs to link orders correctly, but they're not available from the front-end. Just adding a little line of text on the store setup page would be the easiest add-on to make the process of setting up that less cumbersome.
Like probably many others are, I'm having to do a workaround to get past the inability to integrate Amazon fulfillment in Europe (and Canada while our integration is for some reason broken). Basically, I have to manually create a Multi-Channel Fulfillment order in Amazon sellercentral for each order that comes in on our website. (Again-- Please create an Amazon Europe Integration!) I then need to wait until the order is processed and shipped from Amazon's warehouse, checking back the next day to pull the tracking number. (Do you see how this could be annoying?) Once I have looked up the MCF orders individually, and pulled the tracking numbers individually, I then need to go back to Shipstation and individually copy/paste the shipping numbers into the "mark order as shipped" popup. These tracking numbers often come in the format of "TBC123456789012" and are not assigned to USPS or UPS or Fedex or any other carrier, other than Amazon's delivery team itself. The carrier (Amazon Logistics) is not listed as an option for tracking, and "FBA" is not listed as a Ship From location, because it is a fulfillment provider not a Ship From location. The ShipStation support team member I spoke with about this issue recommended just using the carrier "Other". So I did. However, when a customer gets an automated tracking email saying "Your package has been shipped using Other. Click here for tracking information: TBC123456789012" and there is no link... We get confused emails. I came up with a very simple solution that someone on your team could probably implement in 15 minutes. Just add "Amazon Logistics" as a carrier. And then have the tracking information for that carrier go through www.swiship.com. It would be so simple as a temporary solution in comparison to building and testing the Amazon Europe APIs. Because even though I can tolerate *my team's* experience generating these orders being less than ideal, having *our customers'* experience be confusing and poor is a hard pill to swallow. That said, doing all of this is a time suck, and I would really appreciate movement on developing the Amazon Europe integration for this post-Brexit reality.
Shipstation sends tracking info to Woo as internal notes only. Can someone advise if they can properly send into correct field. Internal note is of no use to let customer know if the orders have been shipped.
Hi! We would like to have a PDF that we have designed in 6x4 to print every time we create a label. We use these labels for sealing our packages and it would greatly improve our process if they could just be printed at the same time as we create a label. I am sure this feature would extend further and have other uses!
It is common practice now to add an upsell app post purchase. Shopify supports updating orders after the order is created - with apps like One Click Upsell from Zipify and Carthook. This was a popular requested feature on the previous Shipstation communit board before that community board was depepricated. If shipstation supported order edits, support for shopify order holds, or had the option for a delay on orders these apps and the upsell add to cart would work as expected. Would love to see this supported with Shipstation soon.
Ability to create additional Custom Fields
Hi John, I can see the tracking# column on Shipment grid, but can’t find on the shipped grid, so I tried to add the tracking column using 'Manage Columns', but it wasn't on there nor on the report in insights grid.Is there any good way to add 'Tracking#' column on the 'Shipped' tap?
