Improvements

Features

  • GlobalPost Container Labels allow page rows up to 50 or 100: We now support displaying 50 and 100 shipments on the Shipments > End of Day > Container Labels > Eligible Shipments grid. briabeeson_0-1699037175961.png

  • Auto-Split Orders - Discount Line Items: We have corrected a problem so that Auto-Split orders with Discount Line Items now function as expected. With this update, discounts will no longer be split into their own shipments and will remain with the first shipment. This update applies to all stores that use the Auto-Split feature. Previously, Discount Line Items would be split into their own shipment during Auto-Splitting. However, because discounts are not set up to display as line items, the shipment displayed an empty Items section.
  • ShipStation Trial Subscription - Currency Symbols: The Subscription screen for merchants on a trial plan now shows the correct currency that their account is set to use, e.g. £ or €. Previously, Trial accounts saw $0.00 in the Subscription > Users box, despite this not being the correct currency symbol.
  • Print Preview - Improved Error Messages: We have updated the Print Preview screen to show a more helpful message when ShipStation Connect is not fully online or connected.
  • User Permissions and Restrictions - Workflow and ShipStation Connect: We have corrected an issue so Users on your ShipStation account without Configuration or Admin permissions cannot access the Workflow and ShipStation Connect Settings. Previously, users had access to these settings when these permissions were not applied and were able to deactivate workstations or modify other users’ devices.

Integrations

Carriers

  • UPS from ShipStation - Registration: We have improved the UPS from ShipStation registration process. Should the registration return an error when you attempt to create an account, now you can correct the error by following the instructions on the Carrier’s settings page within that same session. briabeeson_1-1699037243382.png

Selling Channels

  • Shopify - New Account Registration: We have updated the error message that registrants see for a new Shopify account if their registration information doesn’t pass through. The error message now reads, “We've encountered an error.  Your {{marketplace}} Registration information is missing.  Please log back in to {{marketplace}} and try again.”

Bug Fixes

Features

  • Custom Order Export - Value Fields: We have corrected an issue so that now all exported field values in the Order Export CSV file will contain the expected corresponding column. Previously, the Shipping Paid field was not exporting with the correct value into the file.

  • Automation Rule Action - Charge Shipping to a 3rd Party: We have fixed a bug so your selected Billing Country for the action Charge Shipping to a 3rd Party saves. Previously, when you set the Billing Country for the rule, the changes were not reflected.

Integrations

Carriers

  • DHL eCommerce - Rates and Labels: We addressed an issue so that now you can generate domestic DHL rates and labels as expected and without an error. Previously some merchants saw this error message: DHL eCommerce V4: "Static Validation Failed | packageDescription: expected minLength: 1, actual: 0 (Bad Request)."
  • DHL Express - Rate Calculator: We fixed a bug so you can get rates for DHL Express in the Rate Calculator. Previously, you were unable to get DHL Express rates when using the rate calculator.
  • GLS Canada - Recipient Name on Label: We corrected a problem so that now if you provide a Company Name, it will appear on a GLS Label. Previously, Recipient Name appeared twice on GLS Canada labels instead of Recipient Name and Company Name.
  • Royal Mail - Currency on CN23 forms: We fixed a problem so that now if a Royal Mail label is created for an order in a currency other than British pounds (GBP), we convert that currency for the CN23 form. Previously, when importing Royal Mail labels created for orders with a currency other than GBP, we displayed the shipping/postage cost value on the label’s CN23 form in GBP instead of the imported currency.

Selling Channels

  • BigCommerce - Marketplace Notifications: We have fixed a bug so that BigCommerce shipments now accurately display the correct marketplace notification status of Successful. Before, BigCommerce marketplace notifications were showing as Failed in the Shipments tab, despite the marketplace successfully updating.
  • Channel Pilot - Store Setup: We have fixed an issue so that now ChannelPilot stores connect without error, as expected. Previously, for some merchants when trying to connect the store, the following error occurred: An error occurred attempting to update orders: We encountered an error communicating with ChannelPilot. Please attempt to refresh the store in a few minutes. (503).
  • Shopify - Split Shipment Notifications: We corrected a problem so now when you use the split ship function and only fulfill single SKUs or part of the order, Shopify will receive updates only for the SKUs that were fulfilled, and not \the whole order. Previously, when placing orders with multiple quantities of the same item, Shopify was partially fulfilling them but marking the entire order as fulfilled.
  • Quickbooks Online - Sending Orders to Quickbooks: We have corrected an issue so Quickbooks now saves the Income Account and Asset Account in the Quickbook integration settings and you can process your transactions as expected. Previously, attempts to save the Income Account and Asset Account failed, and you could not export orders.
