Issue: Amazon Buy Shipping does not work for us when trying to create shipments using the following services:
There is a window regarding purchasing label from carrier, it disappears and the label is not generated. On Amazon there is no update with tracking or a label made. This is occuring on any order with these services.
Related Issue: If Amazon Buy Shipping Ground Advantage (any version) is in a batch during the batch processing, the batch will immediately fail all orders.
As of today if we attempt to create a label as Amazon Buy Shipping - USPS First Class Mail it returns an error stating:
The purchase request parameters are invalid, please call with the correct parameters or make another call to check eligible options (Bad Request, Carrier Error Code: InvalidInput). (400, 38c83795-07fc-4814-b7cb-6987122f7006)
We have confirmed:
Amazon Buy Shipping - Parcel Select |
Amazon Buy Shipping - Priority Mail |
Amazon Buy Shipping - UPS (All services) |
Amazon Buy Shipping - Priority Mail Cubic |
Amazon Buy Shipping - Priority Mail Flat Rate Services |
Per Shipstation's release notes Amazon Buy Shipping Ground Advantage services are now available.

RESOLVED: As of November 13, 2023 all services we are able to test are functioning as expected for Amazon Buy Shipping.
@kayla-zk We are not experiencing other persistent issues with Amazon Buy Shipping at this time.

Hi, can you clarify i read that you said USPS Ground Advantage and First Class will not be available until January 2024 for Amazon Buy API?

This service is now failing the same as first class mail.

Excellent post BTW. I was dealing with this issue as well, for about one month. This has finally been resolved for me as of Monday. However an entirely new issue has begun in the process of troubleshooting that one. Are you still experiencing issues with Amazon Buy Shipping via ShipStation?

Anyone know how to get automation to pick Amazon Buy Shipping AND to not get Rate Errors. Looks like Buy Shipping is coming over but then shows as "Rate Error" forcing me to go one by one to manually produce labels. There has to be a solution out here ..Help. Thx

Hey @pweisberg - Can you please elaborate and maybe provide screenshots? You're saying you get rate errors after applying a "Shipping Strategy" to Amazon orders? What is the error message?
