Allow automation for marking orders as hazardous goods

I have a store that sells butane lighters and I need an automation to mark the shipments as dangerous goods, instead of having to manually mark each order.

Thank you for your post. I have sent your feature request to the developers, and they have let me know that work is currently being done to be able to mark goods as hazardous.

I'd like to second this feature suggestion - came here specifically to suggest the same.

Nearly all of my shipments are dangerous goods, so having this box checked and being able to automate the filling of or set a default for the name/phone fields would be a huge time (and frustration) saver for me.

Any updates on the status of when in 2025 this feature is rolling out? I echo the frustration expressed by the individuals on this thread that there should be an automation rule applicable in marking certain orders with hazardous and the information relevant to that including contact information etc.
