We need to be able to edit or delete customers from the database without having to upload a csv file. Below are a couple examples for when this would be helpful. I'm sure others here will agree that some simple database management would be greatly appreciated. I recently had to correct a type-o in a customer record and the process is just unreasonable. Download an example .csv file, add ALL the customer information (not just what needs changing) upload the file, and finally make sure that the original profile was correctly overwritten. It should be as simple as hitting an edit button, changing what needs changed, and hitting save. I have two customers with the same name. Lets call them John Smith and Smith Electrical Corporation. I send a package to Smith Electrical about once a month. John Smith ordered once from our website over two years ago. Whenever I type "Smith" when making a new order, guess who comes up as the first result! There's no need for John to still be in the system, why can't I easily delete his record?

This feature is badly needed and really should be added to the roadmap. Customer management is such a key function of the platform and it's current implementation is SO clunky.

Please expedite this!

This feature is highly needed. Not being able to delete or archive customers leads to shipping mistakes, and working with CSVs is incredibly clunky and overly time consuming. The long period of time this is left unanswered and the generic responses here really do lower my appreciation for Shipstation.

lol this thread is from 2016!!! what are you paying your developer(s), and how can I get a job like that?!? incredible stuff, really.

CSVs truly are the pinnacle of nimble and modern product management! be sure to send me the next (terrible) shipstation platform upgrade on a floppy disk!

the fact that is something we PAY FOR is just such an incredible bit, everyone wave to Nathan Fielder!

@CaraAdmin , has there been any updates on this?? Your team has had since 2016 to get a modern address book up and running. Can we get some real response on this other than a canned statement?

Or, will ShipStation pay for my shipping expenses and time spent editing addresses on wrongly addressed packages?

I'm tired of paying for a service that ignores the true needs of it's customers.

An update from our end as a user -
Given that Shipstation has no real plans to implement this feature in the foreseeable future, we've moved our B2B shipping activity (most of our shipping spend, and the one that this feature was affecting the most) to a different platform that does have such a feature.

Very dissapointed to have to do so - it's a pain to switch platforms, and this is such a basic feature, and the empty corporatespeak replies from admins are, frankly, insulting.
