Deliver by date?

What is the new delivery by date field that appears at the top of the order summary? Is there a way to assign this with automation rules? Can it be used as a variable for Shipping Strategies to ensure that rate shopping considers both cost and delivery date? Not finding any details about this new field... tell us more!

Hello oeban31!

 

Thank you for your post. The Delivery by Date feature was launched, and currently, you can only set a Delivery Date on single orders. The feature to bulk update multiple orders is still in development and coming soon.

 

It's primarily for orders like Amazon Prime that must meet specific delivery windows (e.g., 2-day delivery). You will find the help center article here,  in case this may help.

Cara, will there be a feature developed to enable the assignment of Delivery by Dates via automation rules?
