Feature Request: Support Adding/Removing Multiple Tags in a Single API Call

Managing tags is one of the most powerful ways to organize and automate workflows in ShipStation. However, the current API requires a separate call for each tag added or removed from an order. This quickly becomes inefficient when managing orders that need multiple tags applied at once.

For example, if an order needs three tags, we must send three separate API calls. At scale, this creates unnecessary overhead, slows down automations, and increases the likelihood of hitting rate limits.

By enabling the ability to add or remove multiple tags on a single order in one API call, ShipStation would:

  • Improve efficiency: Reduce redundant API calls and speed up order processing.

  • Enhance scalability: Make it easier for high-volume shippers to manage large batches of tagged orders.

  • Reduce strain: Lower overall API traffic and system load, benefiting both users and ShipStation infrastructure.

This enhancement would be a small change with a big impact on API usability, making tag management more practical and powerful for all ShipStation users.
