We’ve been longtime users and truly appreciate the tools and discounts ShipStation offers through carrier partners like DHL and UPS. Today, I’d love to explore a potential enhancement that could significantly improve our business operations.
We operate a wholesale and retail business, and large part of our inventory comes directly from our facility in Peru. We are about to scale considerably, but are running into issues with shipping. Currently, we need to rely on external shipping methods to get products from Peru to the United States, which can sometimes be inefficient and costly.
Here's what we'd love to explore:
Could we use our ShipStation account to establish our Peru facility as a shipping location in our account? The goal is to be able to ship packages from Peru to the U.S. using our existing ShipStation setup. This would help us manage shipments more effectively and enable us to leverage any available DHL or UPS discounts ShipStation offers.
This added functionality would not only streamline our supply chain but also allow us to stay competitive by passing on shipping savings to our customers.
We’d love to hear if it’s possible to:
- Set up a Peru-based location in ShipStation for shipping to the U.S.
- Utilize existing carrier partnerships (like DHL/UPS) from that location.
