Shipping to the US from Canada via DHL and/or UPS in Shipstation?

I just wrapped my head around all the Canada Post/ Zonos crap (which Shipstation still doesn't seem to have implemented, not that it matters given the damn strike)

So now I have to ask, can we ship to the US from Canada using DHL or UPS? Does Shipstation handle the duties, etc? Or do I need to go through the UPS/ DHL website and handle each package individually and pay duty on their sites?

What an absolute nightmare.

anyone know?

We have had no problem shipping UPS to Canada. I shipped to two customers in Canada last week via UPS standard.

Shipstation does not cover Customs fees.

I am mainly curious about shipping from Canada to the US as so much has changed with shipping to the US these days. It has been pandemonium

Hello @asaunders and @DGfx!

The Zonos setup applies to Canada Post and Australia Post. Currently, Canada Post is on strike. You can see all the information on the strike here. You can definitely use DHL Express or UPS from ShipStation for your international shipments.

However, please note that ShipStation itself doesn’t handle duties and taxes.

For UPS from ShipStation, you have the option to decide who pays the duties. If you select the checkbox in the order, duties will be billed to you; if you leave it unchecked, the recipient will be charged instead. You can find more details in our Help Center here:
👉 UPS from ShipStation

For DHL Express from ShipStation, international shipping is fully supported; however, they don’t currently support DDP (Delivered Duties Paid), meaning the recipient will be responsible for any duties and taxes upon delivery. You can review the details here:
👉 DHL Express from ShipStation

I hope you find this helpful!
