We have 2 similar, common scenarios for which I can't currently create ShipStation Automation Rules.
1. eProducts: eBooks, video workshops, etc. People can order them from our connected store, and the orders sync to ShipStation. The deliverable is data, not a physical product. The customer automatically receives instructions from the Store for how to access it. I'd like to create a Rule for these SKUs to automatically set the Carrier to "Other" and mark them as shipped. But "Other" can't be set as one of my Carriers, so it's also unavailable to Rules. And I don't see a "Mark as Shipped" action, either.
2. Will-Call: The store has "In-Store Pickup" as a shipping option. People that live nearby often use that to save shipping costs. These are physical products that we have to pack, so we do want the orders to come to ShipStation, but I'd like to be able to set the Carrier to "Other" from within the order details window. Since I can't select that as one of our Carriers, it does not appear on the list. Further, I'd like to be able to create a Rule for "In-Store Pickup" orders that automatically sets the Carrier to "Other," but I can't do that either, as described in "eProducts."
If I just haven't found the way to do this, please educate me! Otherwise, I'll post this to the "Ideas" board.

Hello @JeffVan!
First, welcome to the Communityโweโre so glad youโre here! This space is an excellent resource for finding answers, sharing feedback, and suggesting new product features. We hope you find it both helpful and inspiring!
To answer your first question, the Mark as Shipped action isnโt currently available through Automation Rules. However, to help streamline the process, we recommend tagging the applicable products on the Products page in ShipStation. This Help Center article on creating order tags can guide you through that setup. Once tagged, you can easily filter orders and bulk mark them as shipped, saving time and effort.
For your second question, you may find this Help Center article on processing customer-picked orders helpfulโit outlines the recommended steps for handling store pick-up orders.
Let us know if you have any other questions. Weโre happy to help!
Happy Shipping!

Thanks for your reply.
Mark As Shipped needs to be available in Automation, and Tags--which I use all the time for their intended purpose--are a workaround, not a substitute.
The links you provided are formatted as links but are not clickable. I did a search against "Processing Customer-Picked Orders" and nothing relevant came up. Please provide the actual URLs.
Thanks!
