It would be nice if there was a column to show if packing slips have been printed for open orders. That way when new orders come in, you know which ones need packing slips printed. It would help in my workflow at least. I know you can see if a packing slip has been printed on the shipments page, but that's only for orders that have already been shipped, as I would want it on the open orders page.
we have negotiated rates with fedex and would like to show the list price to our customers, I spoke to fedex and they said that is something that would need to be implemented on shipstation. we use fedex shipmanager with qb api and are able to charge our clients the list price and not the negotiated price. we are upgrading our system to zoey and using shipstation to automate the shipping process and need that option to make this work. can anyone help get this option enabled since it will require an extra step and would hinder the automated process we are trying to reach.
There should be a way to delete orders from the 'canceled' tab - sometimes an import doesn't go quite right, or perhaps you created the order to get a shipping cost for a customer who backed out - there's no reason to keep all that data in the canceled tab. Furthermore, and more importantly - if it's a botched import - you have to change to all new order #'s or re-importing will only update the already botched orders (and if it's the order # that's botched, you're way out of luck.) Let us delete canceled orders.
It would be great if there was a dedicated store connection for Discogs.com. My business shipped thousands of packages from our Discogs storefront in the past year. We had to manually add each order number, customer shipping info, etc. and send manually provide tracking numbers to customers. Thanks for your consideration.
Some customers require parcels and pallets to be labeled with GS1-128 (UCC-128) logistics labels.It would be helpful if ShipStation could produce these labels.Specifications can be found here.

Hello, I would love the feature for being able to sort the inventory locations when trying to add inventory to a product manually through Shipstation. The current ordering is based on location creation date which isn't useful at all unless you created all of your locations in an ordered manner from the start.For example, I have product XYZ at location 5 - 3 - 2 - Rear and would like to add 5 inventory to this out of stock item that was just restocked. Currently, I would have to scroll through all of my inventory locations hoping to find this very specific location (5 - 3 - 2 - Rear) or resort to creating a csv upload for a single item update (this proves faster but inconvenient).This could be solved easily by enabling sorting or allowing typing in the location instead of searching through a dropdown list of 100s of locations.
Hey there,It would be nice if ShipStation added the feature to allow custom package weights. That way, when you choose your custom package, the additional weight will be added as well to account for the box and void filler weight. I understand that ShipStation automatically pulls the weights for all of the SKU's in the order, but what's the point if you still have to manually enter the additional weight to account for your box and void filler? You might as well go ahead and weigh the entire package before shipping at that point. Which is what we're having to do now...... Would be able to ship about 4x as many orders if this was a feature. Anyone else have a workaround?
Hello devs!I would like a webhook that triggers when an order is split. Currently, there is no way in my web application to tell when a user does this which means I'm not able to make any necessary updates to the order/shipments in our database. Is this something currently in the pipeline?
We often have instances where UPS doesn't update their system properly and one of our shipments remains as in progress indefinitely because we can't mark the shipment as delivered Manually. Please fix it so that we can mark a shipment as delivered manually once we know it has been delivered, but the UPS system says it's still in progress. It's very, very annoying that we have orders in our "shipments" tab when we know they've been delivered.Thank you.
I would like a user permission option to restrict a users ability to create manual orders or re-shipments.Essentially, I want a user to only be able to ship what is the system, and not generate their own shipments. If a new shipment is required, another user with this permission would have to do it.
Since the Shopify integration does not support custom statuses, all pending orders import as Awaiting Payment. We know the few customers who have terms with us, and it would be extremely helpful to be able to automatically mark those orders as paid as soon as they import to ShipStation. Otherwise the sales team has to constantly monitor the Awaiting Payment queue to make sure orders that should ship immediately don't get overlooked. They don't have the time, but the shipping department should not be making that determination either. But an automation rule based on the customer takes care of it simply and easily.
Facebook made some updates on their shop. Our company is starting to take this platform more serious. I wanted to know if shipstation can start working on a Facebook shop integration
Hello ShipStation we run across this issue often as we ship various sized packages internationally via DHL express. The current calculation can be wildly off, in which we either need to eat the overage or we need to contact the customer to pay additional money to cover the inaccurate shipping quote disparity. also displaying international duties at the time of purchase might be helpful as well (there are other add on apps that do this, but would be great if it was integrated into ShipStation)
It would be very helpful if ShipStation would support international returns.
Hello! I am a Customer Support and Fulfiller at the company I work at. I spend a lot of time formatting and fulfilling shipments for our online store among other things. I am interested in fully automating making shipping labels. In the sense that I wouldn't even have to open Shipstation. Order comes in, label is created, formatted, and printed all automatically. So far I'm 2/3rds through it. Connections to our online store and with some help from Zapier, label creation is automatic. I've used the automations to format labels based on various conditions to some success. Is there a way to have Shipstation print out the label automatically, without having to open the app and hit "Create and Print"? Thank you so much!
From time to time there is an order import failure and subsequent loss of orders in shipstation. The orders will be in Woocommerce for example but shipstation will not import them. The sync date passes the order date and the orders never get brought into shipstation. We have to contact support to get this fixed and it often takes hours. I can't imagine this is a good use of time and it is very frustrating for customers. Often support needs to escalate the issue to the senior support team and they get back to us by email. Please bring back or add the ability to "adjust the store refresh date" so we can effectively conduct our business.
As of now, ShipStation is not available in India. Shiprocket is one of the largest carrier companies in India. It would be really helpful if you could integrate Shiprocket as a carrier in ShipStation, as my team exclusively works on ShipStation. I want Shiprocket to be added as a carrier at any cost. I am willing to purchase any plan you recommend in return. Please prioritize this request urgently.@shipstation
I have not been able to figure out why I get an error every time I use the "Process Shipments". If I process the batch using it , once my labels reach my label queue and I select Label to print I get an error message saying that it failed to Load PDF Document. Anyone know a reason why this could be happening? I have tried a different browser and cleared my Cache like Shipstation has suggested. I found that if I use Create +Print Labels instead I am able to print the labels but it does not come out with a Batch name which makes it difficult to organize my labels once I have them on hand. Any feedback is appreciated, thanks!
It would be really helpful to restrict shipping of specific products to certain states, countries, provinces, ect.For example; Blue Lotus is legal to sell in most US states except for Louisiana. Being able to edit a specific product profile with a restriction so customers in Louisiana could not order Blue Lotus.
When generating an order via API, there is no field to pass the customer/recipient's Tax ID/VAT Number. This complicates things as we must manually enter this information for each affected order in order to generate a valid commercial invoice, or when posting information to carriers for EDI. Please add the ability to pass this information via API.
API keys and secret can not be viewed after the initial generation. It just shows *******************XYZThe current advice is to copy and save them somewhere. Instead, please make them viewable for admins. This will reduce risk of losing them, needing to regenerate, and it's a better user experience since it keeps things in one place. Re-enter the admin login if need to confirm before displaying them.
Allow users to update products in bulk directly in ShipStation instead of having to do so individually or without having to import or export a CVS file to do so. We can update products individually within ShipStation so having the capability to update several products at once would be super convenient. I have several products that I'd like to update the weights and it would be nice to be able to do so in ShipStation simply by selecting multiple products and having columns appear where I can easily copy and paste the updated weights instead of doing it by clicking each product individually which is very time consuming.
Every day or two an order gets missed from our ERP system and never gets imported into Shipstation. When this happens we have to contact support and ask that they do a refresh for us (not the manual one on the top of the screen) and set the refresh date back to reimport the order. This takes time, stops our work in out tracks and really hurts our productivity. Having an option (maybe buried deeper in the settings) for a "hard refresh" or "back in time refresh" to do a one time refresh for any orders that were skipped for one reason or another. It will make us contact support less to help you all out and we will not have to stop our work to ask support to do the same thing for us all the time. Thanks
the label message field is very useful for your team to do packaging, if you chose the product title as custom message then your team can easily link each label to the correct item.Unfortunately, the 26 characters limit with this big font made this section useless for many users. for example, you sell a brand called "ABCDEFG AMERICA. "you have many colors, sizes, you sell shirts for men, women, girls, boys, pants, hats, etc.. but non of this info you can see. for example, these 3 items only. ABCDEFG AMERICA Men shirt dark blue size L ABCDEFG AMERICA Men pant dark blue size M ABCDEFG AMERICA Men shirt light blue size Lon the label you will see all items as" 1 x ABCDEFG AMERICA Me"and the big problem if you sell multi-quantity packs, so if you sell 2 packs of ABCDEFG AMERICA Men shirt light blue size Lthen all you can see is " 1x 2 packs of ABCDEFG " reducing the font in this section can solve this problem.
