Hello,
I have read through the article below that states "ShipStation now gives you the ability to track committed inventory," but I have been unable to find where and how this function works. How do I use this feature? Can it be automated to commit inventory once an order has been created/imported?
Not having to manually allocate inventory for orders Awaiting Shipment would be great! Thank you.

Hello @jimswankybadger!

As for your question: Yes, inventory is automatically committed when an order is created in ShipStation.
To view the amount of inventory committed, head to your Products Grid, click the "Columns" button at the top right and make sure both "Committed" and "In Stock" are selected. This will give you a clear view of your inventory levels.
If you have any additional questions please feel free to reach out to or contact support@shipstation.com.
Happy Shipping!

Hi Cara,
I can't seem to find "Committed" or "In Stock" in the grid columns menu. Link to images below. Do I need to activate anything for them to become viewable?

Thank you for reaching back out! Great news—this information is available right in the Products Grid. Simply click the Columns button at the top right and make sure to enable both the "In Stock" and "Committed" columns. That’ll give you a clear view of your inventory at a glance!

Apologies, I mistook that for viewing in the orders grid view. I see it now in the products view. Thank you!
