Daily ShipStation DIS-Connect.

Why must we now refresh the SS Connect connection every day?  I go to print my first label and I'm told the printers are no longer connected.

Hello, @birdsafe!

Thank you for your post in the community! After chatting with a few members of our support team, they suggested reaching out to support@shipstation.com. They can help with some troubleshooting to determine what's going on.

It might be something simple, like an out-of-date version or a firewall setting, and our support team is great at identifying and resolving these kinds of issues. They’ll make sure everything is working smoothly in no time!

Thank you again and we appreciate you!

Same issue.  Went from consistently working to disconnecting between each label.  Support told me to reinstall.  That fixes the issue for about half an hour then back to having to hit "refresh connection" between each label.

The disconnect with ShipStation is happening several times a day now - so what I'm doing is I have the Shipstation app kept open, so that I just have to click "refresh connection" each time.  Saves a bunch of time that way not having to reload the app each time.

And to the moderator's suggestion of calling support - I'm sorry, but I have been through that sort of thing before and it wastes a lot of time while a support tech logs into my PC and looks around, tries things, changes settings - perhaps having to restart the computer - no thanks. I would rather do as I have been and wait for SS to fix an obvious issue, though I'm guessing it might be an issue that causes data transfer or cloud storage or something that is costing SS money and so they have have it disconnect when they think you are idle.

I'm now experiencing the daily log out of ShipStation connect.

Previously it would retain the login info and startup automatically every day, but now it's asking for username and password every start up, and shows "Multiple Accounts" at the top bar, which makes no sense as we only have a single account.

I've had the same issue with shipstation connect. This is miserable...Yes, I'm using a USB connected printer...Yes, I'm using the updated version of Shipstation Connect (even though it appears that the update is what causes this problem)...Yes, I talked with support about this last year when the same thing happened...No, they were not helpful. I don't get it. The installation size of shipstation connect spiked almost 10x but now I have to refresh it daily and sometimes every 15 minutes. Shipstation is always open in my browser and I'm not using a VPN or or anything (The VPN was the problem last time). I'm pulling my hair out because this is so cumbersome.
