Hello,
Our business ships through 3rd party accounts for many of our orders that are required to go through specific shipping providers. The switch and save functionality is recommending that we change shipping providers on these orders. If a shipping associate was to on accident or through ignorance choose the "Apply and Save" option on these orders, it could incur significant penalties to us. For this reason we would like to have the option to turn off switch and save either on a per-user basis or for the full account.
Thank you

I also would like to know how to turn this off -- our customers choose the carrier and we don't switch except under certain circumstances and I want to get rid of that annoying little box popping up.

Another vote especially since Ground Saver is NOT always the cheapest option. I've encountered several times where regular UPS Ground is cheaper than UPS Ground Saver but ShipStation tries to get me to use Ground Saver (more expensive by $30+).

Hello @kedllc!
Thank you for sharing your concerns with the community! To touch on a few points from this thread, while there isn't currently a way to turn off the Switch and Save feature, we've passed this request along to our development team for consideration.
In the meantime, I came across this helpful article on our rate shopper tool, which might be just what you're looking for to find the most cost-effective shipping options. I hope this helps!
Happy Shipping! We are always here to listen!

This is way to easy to accidentally hit. Customers pay for a particular shipping service. Another vote to ditch this feature.

Also would like to turn this option off. It's too easy to click accidentally when purchasing a label.

This feature should be able to be removed, for a few reasons.
- It's extremely easy to press, and if non-technically savvy warehouse staff use this, they will have a hard time reverting to the shipping that should've been used.
- This recommends options that are not comparable, like swapping UPS 2nd-day or NDA labels for priority mail.
- You give users the option to map rates for store integrations. Why would I want to see if another rate is cheaper for orders that come in with services customers specifically chose at checkout?
- You already have rate-shopper as an addon. If users wanted to compare rates, they'd use this.
- You're losing revenue by using this janky option instead of having users add the compare-rates addon to their account.
