Scale behavior when scanning a order

I found that when scanning a order and the package is already on the scale the weight will not be recognized until you lift it up and put it back on the scale (or scan before placing the package on the scale).

Is there a setting that will allow me place the package on the scale and then scan? (I find that more convenient for me).

Hello, @yisraeln!

The order must be pulled up before the scale process can be applied. If the package is placed on the scale before the order is retrieved, the scale will process an unspecified order, requiring the package to be placed on the scale again. You can switch the workflow to place the package after the order has been pulled with the scan. If you need any assistance with this you can reach out to support@shipstation.com for assistance.
