Types of Barcode Scanners

I am trying to find out the best options for a barcode scanner that will interface nicely with Shipstation. I would prefer one to be cordless since a 7ft cord going thru a warehouse is not happening. Want something that will interface with either a laptop or ipad - also needs to be ergonomically correct and somewhat lightweight for the user.  What has worked best for those users in a warehouse?

If you are using ShipStation app on a mobile device like an iPad, this Zebra Symbol CS4070 bluetooth scanner might be a good option (it's iOS and Android specific, so it won't work with the OS on a laptop).

Hi Sarah,

I was going to purchase the CS4070 but it is now a discontinue item which has been replaced with the CS4080 scanner. Just want to confirm that it is still compatible with the ipad?

CS4070 is being replaced with CS6080.

Although I cannot speak with 100% certainty, from checking out the scanner reviews online, I would say that YES it is very likely that it's still compatible with ipad.
