We’ve been using ShipStation for years. Probably seven years or so now. You’ve changed your login procedure and you’ve essentially broken the mobile app for phone. We use it constantly all day long, or I should say we used to. We’re not always standing at the pick and pack station With the web browser version loaded up. As we’re running around, we pull up the phone to check on orders and check on different things throughout the day. For customer service when we get a call, we pick up the mobile app and look up an order. Now we can’t login. It keeps telling us to login from my browser so if I flip to a browser and login And go back, it doesn’t do anything it still just gives me an error and says we need to login from a web browser… and the normal website does not work at all on mobile. It’s completely unusable. You’ve broken this for us. I’m starting to look around to see what other solutions there are out there now because this is unusable.

Strong agree.
Having to login on my browser just so I can login on the mobile app (despite the app being configured to use FaceID) is a huge annoyance and time-waster. It entirely defeats the purpose of even having the mobile app.
Not only does this serve no purpose from a security standpoint, it's an incredible inconvenience.

Well hey, at least it works for you - for me, logging into a mobile browser does nothing. The mobile browser is COMPLETELY UNUSABLE (iframes within iframes - you can't see anything) and when I go back to the app it just STILL gives me the same error and won't login. We're completely shut out. Fun times... *smh*

Hello @ChannelSixLabs!
Thanks so much for your feedback! We know how important it is to have a smooth mobile experience, and the great news is that our team is already working hard on a solution. We're building an update that will let the mobile app handle aMFA right inside the app—no more switching to an external browser! Our engineers are working on this daily, and while we can’t share an exact launch date just yet, we plan to release it on iOS first, then Android soon after. We really appreciate your patience and are excited to bring you these improvements soon!
Happy Shipping!

Can you give a ROUGH approx of when it's going live with the update? "it's coming soon" isn't good enough. that could be tomorrow or it could be 6 months. Realistically and honestly, is it still in development with an X months projection, or in approvals to go live? This is a BIG DEAL and '... and update is coming' may be all they've given you to communicate (I get that - don't shoot the messenger) but I don't think you understand how badly they just hosed everyone, and there are a BUNCH of people in multiple threads all angry and cancelling their accounts now... I'm not sitting around forever waiting on this.

I also sent an email to their tech team and got some AI robotic answer back that had nothing to do with my complaint. The mobile app is now unusable since you have to login on a desktop first before being able to login on your phone. I loved the app because I could quickly whip up a shipping label and email it on the go. I am REALLY upset about this. I have been a shipstation customer for over 10 years.

Keep getting locked out too ..
Support says to just log into the browser first ... WHY HAVE AN APP .. if you have to use the browser first.
Started looking for an alternative to Shipstation .. I can't keep getting locked out and error messages.
