Etsy Gift Messages

Etsy gift messages include two fields - one field for the message and a second field to write who the message is from.

Currently only the message field is imported to Shipstation, so when it's printed out on our dispatch notes the recipient doesn't know who the message is from.

Could the 'from' field be included too please?

Yes! This is still happening and Shipstation support is telling me to contact etsy about this. This is an engineering issue that should be fixed for shipstation/etsy users.

I have the same need and have messaged with Etsy and with ShipStation.  ShipStation has confirmed this as a feature they have not yet implemented.  They suggested I post this to the forum to drum up support for the feature, please add your desire for this feature by replying.  

this is from Etsy: “it looks like they're not pulling in the gift_sender information under getShopReceipt.”

this is From ShipStation: “Upon coordinating with our account specialist, as of now, Shipstation doesn't have a specific field to catch the string "gift_sender" that's why it's not showing in the gift notes. Currently, Shipstation can only catch the string of gift_message.
 
The alternative way available as of now is to add manually a "-- Lyndsey" in the gift note field in order details of your orders.“
