Shipstation says printer is offline

I keep getting an error message when trying to print to IDPRT SP410: "The printer, IDPRT SP410, connected to shipstation workstation, is offline."

I have tried: 

Printing a test page from my computer: it works fine

Removing and reinstalling the Shipstation app

Removing and reinstalling the printer

Clearing the browser cache

Logging in and out of shipstation

Updating and restarting the computer

The printer is not offline. I am able to print using other programs. It is connected via USB. After wiping all traces of it from Shipstation and from my computer and reinstalling, it still says it's offline.

Any help is appreciated

Shipstation connet printing sucks. at best it works half the time; i have actually not been able to print from it for more than 2 years. I gave up. Luckily i'm the only one that uses it; i would never use this software for a large scale business.
