We recently started using Amazon Buy With Prime on our Shopify store. After manipulating the settings with ShipStation we have gotten it setup so that ONLY the items that we need to ship internally actually sync to ShipStation. The problem is that the only way to do that leaves the order marked as "Shipped". Which is so silly.
Amazon Buy With Prime just announced that they are doing Mixed Cart. Meaning customers can create orders with items that can ship Prime AND ship normal by us in the same order. By having ShipStation Support set "Exclude 3rd Party Shipments", the Shopify order that has 2 separate fulfillments marked on the order and it actually ONLY syncs the item we need to ship, but it's marked as "Shipped" so our fulfillment team can't fulfill. There is a setting in the Shopify Settings that says "Import Buy With Prime Orders as Shipped" But this setting doesn't do what I thought it would. Toggling the setting doesn't change if the order is marked as shipped or not, instead it toggles whether the BWP order is imported or not, and it will always be marked as shipped even though it now only imports the item that needs to be shipped.
If we turn off "Exclude 3rd Party Shipments" then the order still syncs and it still is marked as shipped, but now the item we need to ship has the proper quantity, and the item that goes BWP is listed with a 0 quantity. So it seems like the potential is there, the ShipStation integration views the order properly as being able to see which items actually need to be shipped, but there seems to be no setting configuration that gets the order in a Awaiting Shipment status.
