As a ShipStation customer, I find it very strange that there is no option to automatically delete order or shipment data history within our ShipStation account. For our business use case, we have no need to retain the data in Shipstation after the order has delivered as this is retained and managed in our CRM. We don't want customer address details retained indefinitely in the ShipStation database for customer privacy compliance reasons. Can this feature please be added?

Upon my first try of the new label printing workflow UI, I have the following suggestions: 1 - Part of the insurance amount field is cut off (see image). Please make sure you test on Safari 16.5.1 (Mac OS Ventura 13.4.1) and that it can handle font size changes. 2 - It now takes an extra click to access the manual Print link, which is a step backwards. There seems to be room in the GUI to add a Print button for this that like doing manual printing (or where your ShipStation Connect doesn't work sufficiently), instead of having to click the ••• menu and then click Print. Our Company just started our subscription, we are a B2B Company that blind ships all shipments. We only have three locations that did not list a Company Name in the Ship From Location Info as it was not a required field. Turns out this causes an error when attempting to process Labels. I reached out to support to find out there is not a supported XML field to override this value for blind shipping when importing and the recommended workaround is to duplicate our addresses for each re-seller or distributor we now need to enter 2500 Distributor Ship From Locations x3. There is currently no way to do this in bulk so there will now be an additional step to create each unique location with each shipment as it is processed. This is not a good experience for B2B companies at this time.

Please consider giving us the option to "Hide" certain users from the "Assigned To" list. Our customer service team has access to ShipStation, however, they will not do any warehouse picking or packing. It would be nice to be able to hide them from the list so the warehouse team will not need to scroll through their names.

Hello: I would like to suggest adding an email notification to ship station owner's who have orders stuck in the queue. Currently this isn't in place. Not everyone checks their ship station dashboard on the daily to see this information. An email alerting them would be more beneficial. Hello, We fulfill for many stores through Printify. Many of the stores we fulfill for want their own address for the return address. After a couple of years doing this our ship from locations, 'warehouses' in the API, have become bloated to the point web browsers and api scripts are having real trouble working with ShipStation. On the UI side, we can only delete these one at a time. On the API side, we can delete in bulk, but we can't tell which are actively used. There is a create date, but this doesn't tell us which locations are still associated with recent orders. It would be great if: ship from locations could be deleted in bulk through the UI ship from locations would store the date of the last order that used it. These would be great features for any fulfillment house shipping for many client stores.

Hi team, We would like to be able to modify the user permissions for any specific account even further than what is offered. More specifically, can you modify the permission settings so that you can give an account view-only rights to the Orders, Shipments, or Products page? Is it also possible to change it so that users can edit address or order information but not the order tags? As it stands, it seems like the permission sets are "all or nothing." As in, they can either view and edit orders or not see them at all. It just seems really odd to me how this wouldn't already be a feature. I appreciate all your guys' help! Thank you. -Zach

Hello, I would like to know if there can be a no package movement notification after label is created. I ask because after label created it might get lost, the package misses scan or get lost. As a seller I'll only figure this out when the customer contact me complaining why his/her package didn't arrive. Since there's an icon that informs the package status on shipstation (unknown, in transit and delivered) it will be extremely helpful if I could setup notifications based on this status. This way I'll be able to be notified if the order actually shipped or setup notifications based on the status change. I really hope this is a good idea and don't think it will be that hard to apply to the already great shipstation. Thanks.

Hi there. We have 2 accounts. One for US and one for Canada. It's quite annoying and impractical to logout and login every time one has to process the orders every day several times a day. I wonder if it would be possible to do a seamless switch like Google offers for example to switch profiles or even better if there could be a sort of account consolidation from the UI (web) point of view like you could do with email accounts. A User Restriction should be to prohibit seeing Customer Email Address and Phone Numbers. This is important because many Shipstation users have 3rd party fulfillment companies working from them. Protecting customer data is very important!

I'm trying to use the recipient's Company name as a Field replacement for the email template., unfortunately this is not an option at the moment. Because of an integration with SAP, our orders come in with the company name and Customer name reversed in the order. This is preferable for managing our orders, but when emailing shipping notices to customers we get complaints, especially since the customer's name is included in recipient address.

Hi. I made a mistake with my labels with some pretty high price packaging, forgetting to add insurance. I have $250 in my shipstation account, and my packages cost $220 to send, leaving me with $30 in the account. To fix my error, I must void the labels but it takes a few days for the $220 to credit back. Since the packages must be sent by tomorrow, this leaves me with 2 choices: Ask my coworker to add another $220 in to fix my mistake, but be unable to pull out that original $220 when the amount corrects. Not something we can do right now honestly. Or 2: Just go with the mistake and hope these fragile packages make it in one piece without insurance to back it up. I have to go with option 2, but had the void done an immediate credit back, I would been able to instantly correct my mistake with no issues. Thank you.

For my industry, and some related industries, we sell items at prices to the 4th decimal point. So USD$0.0625 per unit. Shipstation does not have the ability to account for this, and it rounds up the price on orders it imports from our SAP integration. This causes the prices to round up or down overall and makes the packing and customs lists inaccurate. If there was a way to give users the option to set decimal points to the 4th decimal, you would be able to expand your customer base to additional industries. We are currently using a workaround internally to account for the discrepancy, but this workaround limits us to only working with our local office. If it were to be fixed, we could expand our use of shipstation to other locations globally.

Please let us restrict a users ability to see the Onboard page. We are able to restrict every other page except for this. As an Admin, I don't want users adding new stores / marketplaces, adding carrier accounts, adding fulfilment partners, adding locations. This is the role of the Admin and/or manager. Not a user. Hello, We're looking for a feature that allows us to restrict order information (e.g. item name, quant, price, ship from location, etc.) at the shipment-level, not the order-level. As of now, any restricted user can see all items within a multi-item order, even items that are not assigned to them once a multi-item order has been split. This creates confusion when users are responsible for fulfilling only certain items within the order, and not all. Andrew
