We have used the ShipStation API for several years, small business, less than 50 orders a month and we use the Bronze plan for $30.  We only use this for shipping labels, nothing else.  The API is for our custom website and we also connect to Etsy and Amazon for alternate sales channels.   After all this time, ShipStation is now requiring API access users to go from $30 to $100 a month - just to keep using something that we have used for years and never needed support for.   There was very little warning about this new requirement and in chatting with support they don't hear the customer and keep talking about new features that I don't need or care for.   This is the WORST corporate decision I have ever seen in my life for forcing your small business customers to just suck up a 300% price increase to use a system the way you have always used it.   Time to move to an alternative shipping label provider  ... ShipStation should maintain API access at all the levels that have it today for existing customers at 1Q2025 prices, and only require upgrading to Gold level to get API access if it's a new customer starting a new account. In other words, respect existing relationships by grandfathering, rather than bait-and-switching after we've invested in integration.  ... View more

Hello, I'm posting here as requested by your support. See request ticket 1994540.   Basically, it would help us quite a bit if we were able to restrict a user from not seeing other orders (imported or created by other users), but at the same time allowing them to create/ship a new order of their own.So they can create/ship their own created orders, but at the same time not mess with existing orders.   I was surprised to learn that this isn't possible with the current implementation of permissions/restrictions. Every API and integration requires Store IDs to link orders correctly, but they're not available from the front-end. Just adding a little line of text on the store setup page would be the easiest add-on to make the process of setting up that less cumbersome.  ... View more

We import orders from QBs into a store called Manual. These orders are scheduled in one of three locations to be produced and will ship from those locations. It is not practical to specify in ShipStation what order will ship from which location so it would be nice if each location could just have a different user and the ability to set their own Ship From Address. A few recommendations for reasonable dyslexic accommodations.  It would be helpful to have an option to change the font on the pick list to OpenDyslexic to help our dyslexic employees pick items more efficiently. We are currently using the OpenDyslexic google chrome extension but it doesn't look compatible with ShipStation. It would be nice for those to be compatible.  ... View more

The present state of the tabs is extremely confusing when you have a lot of tabs and wish to use them in any work flow layout.   Stop the tabs from changing their position once they are clicked upon, don't have them jump next to the all tab and swap the tab that was next to All with the location where you clicked on the tab.  This is wildly confusing and doesn't make sense, it also makes it very difficult to use the tabs in any logical order because they keep moving around.  This is even worse once the tabs expand into the more view drop down.  The position of the click should remain the tab, not change to some other tab! Allow us to freeze the tabs and just select the tab we click on rather than move them.  Allowing us to order the tabs then makes sense and this will allow us to use the tabs as a work flow. I would also suggest that in such mode you do away with the more views dropdown and just allow for multiple tab row or make it scrollable or reduce their size.   Anything would be better than moving the actual tab after clicking on it.   ... This "feature" has caused us a ton of issues throughout the year, and I would love to see a solution. On the scan to print/verify view that our shipping operators use, it is very easy for a regular operator who only has permissions to ship to accidentally update a mapped shipping service setting for the entire store when they're just trying to do it for a single order. We rely heavily on the service mapping settings to make sure orders are getting assigned the proper shipping service, and when an operator inadvertently saves something incorrectly it impacts hundreds of orders.  I would love to see the scan to print view simplified to exclude the option to update mapping settings for the entire store, or at least for this feature to live behind a permission setting that hides it for users who only have shipping permissions.  ... It would be a great feature to add an email notification for when a store error occurs so that we know that we need to import it again or contact shipstation to do a manual import.   ... View more

Being able to file a claim through UPS One Balance from ShipStation Form has been great. BUT there needs to be a better way to track claim status and updates. The only way to do it now is to contact ShipStation via email/phone. If there was a dashboard we can see the live status of claims that would make the workflow way more efficient.    ... View more

Having some basic pickers working our orders I will get the comments of "that was a $500 order".  I am looking for a way for my pickers to Log In to their shipstation account and print packing slips and shipping labels with only being able to see the Pack Slip Details which don't include price.  I would prefer these users to only have the ability to see SKU, Item Description, and Location. I don't ask them to include any of the invoices with the shipment but only the pack sheet. Anyone see this as being something possible in the future? ... View more

Trying to modify a packing slip template and you still use HTML coding. Even your own customer service couldn't figure out how to modify simple features like font size. There should be a simple form builder that allows the user to customize which fields are included on the template, colors, size/ font, etc.  ... View more

It seems that we cannot verify upc codes with letters included much of the time.  Upon further inspection, we learned that Shipstation is case sensitive.  There should be a way to turn this off in order to be able to have a smoother scan and ship experience.  SKUs and barcodes should be verified, regardless of upper or lower case letters.   Please like to get this put through. ... When choosing "Rates" at the top left of ShipStation site, and entering a customer record to retrieve rates, and ship out something manually, there is no option to save that customer record without inputting an email address.  I work at a large ministry and our Shipping Department has to ship out packages for other departments around the ministry and email addresses are not provided at times.  Instead of just using the email address as a "unique identifier" to create and save a customer record, maybe put a "Save As" field or "Nickname" field and the record could be saved under that identifying field.   ...
