I have used other, free shipping sites/apps/companies, and they usually all allow you to have customer profiles that you can edit, leave notes on, etc. Why doesn't shipstation have something so fundamental?

Hi Guys,
I'm using the My Post Business via the Ship Station.
At the beginning of the integration process, I've been promised to have the 2 x payment options for the label purchase via the SS. First is the Credit card payment and the second is to be able to use your existing My Post Business account (30 days credit). What we are facing now, by using the only payment option available (credit card).is that the post office is not providing the invoices based on the credit card purchases. At the EOFY my accountant asking me where did I spent all the credit card money, and I do not have any evidence to cover this expense. I'm sure this little issue can be resolved to be able to use Ship Station in the future. Thank you.

It would be really awesome if 'time imported' was a selectable column to choose from so that one could, for example, be able to filter orders placed all before the cut-off time of that date, for one's company, so shipping can be correct and accurate.

It will be SAFER for us to have a Secure Account, which our information is our own secret for the safety of the customers and the business itself.
I believe Shipstation, like other businesses, might need some third-party verification features for loggin in process. A Two-Step Verification should be great for preventing unwanted login and threats attacking our accoutns. A notification of any logins toward the account owner is helpful to determine whether the account is getting any illegal access.
Following that, it is necessary for the account owner to know whether I got any unwanted visits. Hence, I also want to suggest an IP-checker to view the IPs and the location of all access.
How do you guys think about it?

1. The jump from 50 to 500 is literally a 10x jump. A seller who is teetering on 50 will need 250 at most for the next level. Charge $15 for 250 and then $30 for 500. It shows that your goal is to facilitate success with your customers and not "lock'em in" because they finally had some success.
2. $9 to $29 is a 3X jump. It might seem trivial to add $20 to the monthly fees, but every dollar counts for a company trying to stay afloat right now. I know that you have a prorated fee in place, but the admin around that just seems like upscale engineering.
3. Most importantly, sellers need a partner who has their back. Make a plan that works for them in that middle ground and I'm almost certain you'd be investing in a long-term customer. I love Shipstation, and I say this because I want this product to be that great.

We are working to automate business processes for our online health clinic, and integrating with ShipStation makes managing the whole shipping process easier.
But since we are a US base health provider, any service provider we integrate and handle or process PHI (personal and health information) data with, must be HIPAA compliant, and be able to sign a BAA (business associate agreement) with the health provider.
Meanwhile, we will have to develop our in-house integration with a HIPAA compliant or exempt shipping provider (like Fedex, or UPS) and that adds serious development burden, provides very little shipping flexibility and and locks us in.
Ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and issuing BAAs would be a great addition to the platform.

Every time I go to use ShipStation, I have to login again. The "Remember Me" option does nothing. Support tells me that the actual function of that option is to tell ShipStation not to signout automatically while I'm in the middle of typing. What?
(And, yes, I have been signed out in the middle of typing an address when I forgot to choose that option — i had to login again and re-enter the address.)
The "Remember Me" option should do what it says — remember me for a relatively long time, And, if I don't choose it, it should never, never sign me out when I'm in the middle of doing something.
The machine I use ShipStation on it is protected by a strong password and auto-locks itself if I walk away. There's a physical lock that would prevent a random person from coming up to it and printing labels. And, if they actually got to my machine and unlocked it, there are a lot more dangerous things they could do than mail packages!
This is fake security, not real security. And, if people actually want it for some reason, all they have to do is not choose Remember Me. Please fix it.

My company is US based and recently opened distribution centers in Europe and Australia.
I can add more of my storage places in Australia but cannot connect to "Australia Post" , same goes to Europe.
would have like to be able to create Australian labels from my Australian storage unit to customers same as for Europe.

Suggestion for dev team... dark mode would not only be (subjectively) aesthetically pleasing, but would also help in reducing eyestrain. I'm not sure how feasible this is, but thought I'd put it out there. This is for the website by the way.

We've been experiencing the Google recaptcha verification puzzles every time we login which averages 5+ times a day. Each time taking 15-20 secs. From a customer support chat the overall conversation conveyed this is how it is. Is ShipStation experiencing a high number of bot traffic signing in to want a recaptcha?

We need the ability to manipulate rates or show no rates for each user. Both UPS and FedEx have this feature in ups.com CampusShip and fedex.com ShipAdmin. We have many users and / or third party vendors that use our accounts and we charge them additionally or public rates when using our UPS/FedEx account. We need to be able add handling charges as a percentage or fixed amounts on top of base shipping charges. For some users, we’d like to hide the rates completely. This is common practice in shipping industry and we’re surprised you don’t have that configuration option available.
