There are so many complaints about V3 and customers are using your forums to discuss switching to various competitors. Maybe it's time to allow going back to V2 while the problems are fixed in V3?
Yes, please! Things that worked great in the Legacy version no longer work in v3, and when you open a ticket, they tell you to submit your issue as a New Idea to improve later versions. We're not asking for new improvements, we're asking for bugs to be fixed.
At this time, we're committed to moving forward with the new layout. We understand there’s some functionality from the previous layout that many users would like to see, and we're doing our best to gather that feedback. If these missing features keep you from shipping, I encourage you to reach out to our support team. You can reach them directly at firstname.lastname@example.org or through the app itself. They'll be best equipped to investigate and walk you through potential workarounds for your business.
I think a lot of issues that are being raised are not differences in functionality or missing features, but bugs, or, at the very least, oversights from your developers.
Here are a list of posts about bugs and incorrect behavior, NOT differences in functionality:
I have been told in the past to take these issues to the forum. I will start directing them to the support team instead.
The force over to V3 has wrecked my efficiency. Everything takes forever. Every time you change one shipping parameter, like entering "height"... it lags the page and you can't even tab over to "width" without the page reloading.
Thank you all for being a part of our community and for your honest thoughtful communication about your experiences.
I know that a change like this can feel pretty jarring to workflows, however, this new layout is crucial to securing the ability and success of developing new features requested by users like you. We are determined to make the new layout the answer for all. We want to thank you for your patience and understanding while our team is hard at work pushing out improvements and refining features you know and love.
If you are running into any technical issues with the new layout, the best way to report this is to contact support either via the app or email directly at email@example.com to start a ticket.
If you are looking to share tips and tricks, talk to others about how they are finding ways to excel in this transition, or just provide new ideas for new product functionalities, then this community is the best place to do that. I encourage y'all to continue helping one another via workflows and solutions you have found. The strength of this community is found in all of you.
