It would be helpful to have Ship Station print the shipping label to one printer and the packing slip to another printer at the same time.

We would like to see the ability to bold or call out anything with a quantity larger than 1 on a packing slip. This way when our team is picking the items for an order, they can quickly tell that this order requires more than 1 of the same item.

I have been trying to get this to be a thing for a long time and no such luck. It appears that you have to be a silver member which costs $20 more a month than my current bronze package for a simple a feature. As it stands now you cant change the packing slip to remove the coupon codes my customers use. I have contemplated leaving shipstation for the fact of this but have stayed because of the scan feature only. When a customer orders and uses a coupon code and I send it as a gift it doesn't look appealing that the customer used a coupon code to buy them a gift. Using a sharpie marker is unattractive to black out a code that can be removed by upgrading my plan. I ship 300 packages a month I don't need silver and to pay $20 to remove a simple aspect that is clearly doable is a ridiculous to me. Im not asking for a lot of features on the packing slip just a simple removal of something that shouldn't even be there in the first place.

Hello, We sell plastic sheets made with: different materials (ABS, Acrylic, etc.) different thicknesses (1/4", 1/8", etc.) On the Orders tab, we can sort the orders by SKU which gives us a list sorted by material and thickness. When we give orders to the warehouse, we like having one person work on one material and thickness to avoid shipping the wrong product to the customers. It can be easy to mix a 1/8" with a 1/4", etc. When we print the packing slips in bulk (Select all Orders => Print => Packing Slips), the PDF that gets generated shows all the Packing Slips in a much different order. I believe it is in the order that the Orders came in. I would love to be able to print the Packing Slips in the same order as they are displayed on the Orders tab. It would help a lot when printing and I wouldn't have to manually sort them by material and thickness. Please let me know if that feature could be implemented. Thank you.

There should be an option to set the "Document Options" at a more specific level other than account-wide. We have two different types of orders we process and the one requires 4"x6" labels with 8.5"x11" packing slips, while the other requires an 8.5"x11" packing slip that has the shipping label at the top of it on the same sheet. There is currently no way to do this except to change the label Document Option each time we need to bounce from one to the other. This affects all users as is it account-wide and is causing major issues. I found a similar request going back to 2015 and nothing has been done about this.

It is very needed to be able to create a packaging slip per box. Like once it is settled that a shipment has X number of boxes it could appear a dropdown beside each item to select which box they are in. Or the possibility of printing a packaging slip with only selected items within a shipment. So when printing a packaging slip a prompt window appears asking if you want to do a packaging slip for all the items or partial items, and when clicking partial they allow you to select the items and quantity similar dynamic that is already there when splitting the shipment.

Our 3PL by default does not include prices on their packing slips. In order to get our prices on the packing slips, they need to check the box on the Packing Slip Printing Setup Page to “Include item prices on packing slips”. Then, when they’re done printing, they can uncheck again for their other customers. Please create the ability for our partner to have separate packing slip printing setups for the various customers they work with. This would allow for easier customization and allow them to better serve all of their customers with more flexibility.

I am looking for the ability to create/customize packing slip layouts. We are currently doing 80% of our shipping in ShipStation but still have to pay for and maintain our legacy shipping system because the remaining 20% of our orders are not able to be printed in ShipStation. This is due to them printing on a customized, integrated packing slip. The integrated packing slip is 8.5" x 14" and the bottom portion of the packing slip includes a place for the 4"x6" shipping label, as well as 10 smaller labels that contain customer and order specific information. We physically apply these smaller labels to our product prior to shipping. Screenshots below show the entire integrated packing slip, as well as a detailed view of the bottom portion. I would like to be able to migrate 100% of my business to ShipStation but I cannot do that until I have this addressed.

I usually prepare my shipments before sticking on the labels, and handwrite the name of the client so I know which label is for which package. Frustratingly its not possible to print the packing slip before the label, which causes issues with my workflow as I cant seal the packages ready for the label to be affixed. As a result I resort to printing the packing slip via ebay. Would it be possible to allow the packing slip to be printed despite no label being printed (yet)??

Our workflow requires 2 copies of the packing slip since one goes in the box with the shipment and the other is used for billing. Please add configuration of the number of copies of the packing slip that will be printed through ShipStation Connect by default.
